A Time of Transition...
If you're at a turning point in your career or business - stepping away, changing direction, or simply knowing that what once fitted no longer does - this retreat is a chance to step out of the noise and get clear on what comes next.
For three days, with a small group of men navigating their own transitions, you'll have the space to look honestly at what you're leaving behind, what may be holding you back, and what you want to create from here.
Autumn does this work without being asked. The leaves let go before they're ready, not because the tree has decided anything, but because it's time. There's no argument about whether it's the right moment. It just happens, and something new is already forming underneath.
Most of us don't let go like that. We hold on past the point of usefulness: to the role, the business, the version of ourselves that used to fit.
Not because we haven't noticed it's time, but because of the story running underneath. I can't move on yet. I haven't earned it. I'm not good enough. You may not even hear yourself telling it. It just sits there, quietly steering.
You already know the practical side: notice periods, exit terms, LinkedIn posts, the next thing on paper.
What's harder to plan for is the part underneath it: who you are without the title, whether the decision was actually yours or one you're still arguing yourself into, what you're afraid happens if you stop being useful for three days.
This retreat is built to put that story down, at the time of year made for it.
Where you'll be
We're based at Campwell Farm, a working sheep farm outside Bath that's been in the same family for five generations.
Off-grid. Tents, yurts and cabins with wood-burning stoves. A proper wood-fired sauna. Fires that get lit each evening and don't go out until someone decides they should.
Simple, soul-warming food, and fireside circles instead of screens. No wifi to speak of. Sheep in the next field.
Comfortable enough that you'll sleep properly; remote enough that you won't be tempted to check your phone. The kind of quiet that makes it hard to keep performing, in a good way.
What You'll Experience:
The three days are built around a defined arc:
- Day 1: What I'm leaving. Naming the transition precisely, not the version you'd give in a board meeting.
- Day 2: What's actually in the way. The fear and the story underneath it, worked through properly rather than talked around.
- Day 3: What I'm building next. A concrete commitment, said out loud, to men who will hold you to it.
Each day has a defined shape: Qi Gong at dawn, a structured session, deliberate space, a fireside close, held by True Freedom Leadership coaches Richard Stokes and Tim Bowles.
Cold water immersion, sauna and fire aren't wellness extras here; they're used specifically to get you out of the analysis you're probably very good at, and into what's actually true.
What You’ll Take Home:
- Clarity on what you're actually leaving, and what's calling you forward.
- Tools for meeting the fear and the story underneath it, not just naming them.
- A concrete commitment to your next chapter, said out loud, to men who'll hold you to it.
- Practices you can carry into daily life to stay grounded as the transition plays out.
- A brotherhood of men who did this alongside you, and will hold you accountable long after the fire's out.
More than a weekend away, this retreat offers a clearer read on what this transition actually is for you... and a next chapter that feels like yours, not one you're bracing for.
Autumn's a good teacher on this. If you're ready to learn from it, we'd love to have you there.

Who This Is For:
A small group of men (eight to ten) who are genuinely mid-change, not talking about it, but in it:
- Men in a real career or business transition right now, with a decision made or closing in.
- Men who've already done some of the inner work, and know there's a level they haven't touched yet.
- Men ready to be honest about the fear underneath, including the fear of stopping being useful, even for three days.
- Men who want a small, serious group working through it properly, once. Not a corporate offsite with a bonfire bolted on.
This isn't therapy. Nothing here is about fixing you. It's about giving you room to hear yourself clearly, and to notice which parts of the story aren't actually true.

Your Facilitators
This retreat is guided by Richard Stokes and Tim Bowles, two long-time True Freedom Leadership coaches who've trained closely with Bodhi Aldridge and carry the depth of this work into everything they do. Both have made the exact leap this retreat is built around: they walked away from demanding, high-status careers themselves, and know first-hand what that transition actually takes. This isn't work they're guiding you through from theory.
Rich brings the clarity of a former global leader who discovered that success without presence isn't enough. After more than two decades leading teams across the global advertising industry, including a board seat at Maxus Global (WPP), he stepped away from all of it and chose a slower, more intentional life in Ibiza, a shift that now shapes the way he supports men to reconnect with what truly matters. His grounded calm and deep listening create a space where men can speak truthfully and be met fully.
Tim carries the quiet wisdom of the land he grew up on. After years working in London's advertising industry and Hong Kong's wine trade, he left both behind and returned home to build Campwell, the farm this retreat is held on, designed to help people reconnect with simplicity, nature, and what's real. His presence invites men back into their bodies, their breath, and the steadiness beneath it all.
Together, they hold a powerful, steady container: the kind of space where real change can happen, led by two men who've already walked the path you're standing at the edge of.
